New Delhi: Digitisation has made everything easy. Now you don't have to physically go to the EPFO office to claim transfer of your Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) account. You can sit in the comfort of your home and claim your transfer online.


 


Online EPF accounts are updated, which also includes the latest approved transactions of settlement/advances/transfer-in/transfer-out.


On successful submission of requisite information, you can access all the details as well as make the required changes.


 


Here's how you can transfer your EPF account online. Just follow these simple steps.


-Sign in to your Universal Account Number (UAN).



-You will land up on the home page.


-Click the File Transfer Claim.



-You will get a message saying "Presently this facility can be availed on member claims portal (http://memberclaims.epfoservices.in). To visit this portal now, click on Ok. To remain here click Cancel."


-Click OK and you will be directed to another page.



-Upon landing that page you will be asked to fill in a few details:


Document Type: Aadhar card, ration card, driving license, PAN card, Voter ID, passport number, bank account number, national population register (Select any type of document)


Document no: Type the unique number of the particular document that you have mentioned


Mobile Number: Feed in your registered mobile number


-Sign in after feeding all the details. You will land up on this page.



-Select the Request For Transfer Of Account option from the drop down menu.


-You will be given "Request for Transfer of Account (Form 13)".


-Duly fill all the details in the form.


-Finally you will be given the option to claim attestation through: Previous Establishment or Present Establishment.


-Select your option and then you will be given a special code number. This code number will be sent to your registered mobile number.


-Feed in the code number and submit your document.
