Mumbai, Oct 18: In a bid to spread wings in the Asian region, Air Canada is resuming flights to India with its new daily service between Toronto and New Delhi from October 19, according to Canadian government sources. ''Air Canada's plane will land in New Delhi in the late afternoon and it will fly to Canada at night. This will also help in catching connecting flights to North America,'' stated the officials. The daily service will greatly benefit Indian IT companies which have a large number of North America-bound staff, they said. ''The unmatched connectivity is the attraction of this service which is not possible in Europe,'' they said.
Earlier, the airline had operated a service to New Delhi via London's Heathrow. But, the service was suspended recently. Bureau Report
