New Delhi: The BSE benchmark Sensex gained over 184 points Thursday on sustained foreign fund inflows and persistent buying by investors amid hopes that the long-awaited GST Bill may be passed in the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament after the Cabinet yesterday cleared changes in the Constitutional Amendment Bill.


The 30-share index was trading higher by 184.29 points, or 0.66 percent, at 28,208.62 after moving in range of 28,240.20-28,064.90. The gauge had gained 47.81 points in the previous session.


The NSE Nifty rose by 50.50 points, or 0.59 percent, to 8,666.30.
