Internet giant Google has announced an update to its Google Wallet.

Now, you can send money to anyone in your phone's address book, simply by sending a text.

The update is rolling out on the Google Play and App Store within the next few days.

Sending money has become very simple through this service. All you need is to have the phone number of that person on your mobile phone address.

It will not affect the person recieving the money because the service is regardless of whether the other person has Google Wallet or not.

The receiver is sent a secure link on their telephone, after clicking on which they simply have to enter their debit card details to receive the payment within minutes.
