PlayStation has released a new messaging app that allows players to connect quickly with friends.

With PlayStation messaging, users can check which friends are online and what they're playing; send messages to friends and groups of friends; and upload and share photos.


Players can also exchange themed stickers.


Not unlike Facebook, the PlayStation Messenger is broken out as a separate app and is available for iOS and Android.
