Full list of India`s first 20 Smart Cities

New Delhi: The government has announced the first list of cities that are to be developed into Smart Cities of India.

Of the 97 cities that were up for the Smart Cities Challenge, the government announced a list of 20 cities on Thursday.

Here are the full list of the cities.

• Surat

• Kochi

• Ahmedabad

• Jabalpur

• Visakhapatnam

• Solapur

• Davangere

• Indore

• New Delhi (NDMC)

• Coimbatore

• Kakinada

• Belgaum

• Udaipur

• Guwahati

• Chennai

• Ludhiana

• Bhopal
