Seefeld, Dec 03: Fischicella team-mate Felipe Massa made his debut for Sauber last season before he was dropped. The Brazilian is returning to competition after spending most of this year as a test driver for Ferrari. "For sure, now going back to racing, it would be a very important year for me. I learned a lot this year at Ferrari as a test driver. I think this was a very good school for me," the 22 year-old said. "I think that working at Ferrari with Michael (Schumacher) and Rubens (Barrichello) was the best thing it could have happened to me. For sure, all drivers want to take part at the races, mostly myself. But I used my time and as I am young, I think it was the best thing for me to have gone to Ferrari, to learn a lot and come back with much more experience," the Brazilian added. Massa was taken to the University of Insbruck for a battery of sensomotoric tests to improve his reactions. The Brazilian, who is rated by Sauber as a very fast driver, should benefit from his experience at Ferrari, who provide engines and gear boxes for his new team.

"I trust Sauber, they can improve but we have to wait. It's too early to say and I think we are going to know a little bit more at the beginning of the year with the new car and for sure in the first races. But at the moment I think, it's btter to wait, it's better to do our best to develop a very good car, so that's it."
