Fans from Pakistan alleged that the Men in Blue are underperforming as a win for South Africa can result in Pakistan getting knocked out of the World Cup. It was a crucial catch in the game as Aiden Markram was attacking the Indian bowling attack and he miscued one shot which went right away to Virat Kohli, who's arguably one of the best fielders around the globe.

In the end, India were handed the defeat courtesy some brilliant performance by the South Africa side. Aiden Markram and David Miller helped the Proteas chase the total of 134 runs after the Indian batting lineup collapsed batting first in the India vs South Africa clash. South Africa defeated India by five wickets in their T20 World Cup match on Sunday. Suryakumar Yadav lifted India to 133 for nine with a 40-ball 68 after a batting collapse.

Before these reactions, Shoaib Akhtar posted a video on social media to rant about the batting show by Indians, saying that Men in Blue are taking down Pakistan with them. He posted the message in urdu and said that 'inhone Pakistan ko bhi marwa diya'.


South Africa completed their chase in 19.4 overs. Aiden Markram and David Miller made 52 and 59 runs respectively, the latter remaining not out. Opting to bat, skipper Rohit Sharma was the first batter to get dismissed, following which India kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Returning to the team at the expense of Tabraiz Shamsi, pacer Lungi Ngidi was the wrecker-in-chief as he ran through the famed Indian top-order with four wickets during an incisive spell of fast bowling on a pacy track.
