New Delhi: It turns out to be a day of magical deliveries. Hours after Mitchell Starc produced what many called the 'Ball of the Ashes' at the WACA, Yuzvendra Chahal conjured up a ripper of a deivery in Vizag.

Then, in the northern hemisphere, Chahal bamboozled Angelo Mathews with a dream delivery in the third and final ODI match against Sri Lanka.

India won the match by eight wickets, thus registering their eighth successive ODI series win.

Rohit Sharma, who's standing in for Virat Kohli, won the toss and put Lanka into bat. Lanka, despite Upul Tharanga's 95, failed to post a big total and settled for 215 runs.


Spinners Chahal (46/3) and Kuldeep Yadav (42/3) helped India restrict Lanka to the paltry total, then opener Shikhar Dhawan anchored the chase with an unbeaten 100 off 85 balls, which included 13 fours and two sixes.
