Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw was in sizzling form at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, smashing a whirlwind 82 as his side hammered Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets on Thursday (April 29). Following the win, the young DC opener received praise from all quarters for his aggressive style of batting but there was a special message which went viral. The message is from Prithvi’s rumoured girlfriend, actress Prachi Singh.
Prachi took to Instagram after the match and posted a story featuring Prithvi. While the first image was of Prithvi speaking at the presentation after being named man of the match, the second image is a collage of the DC opener with the awards he won on Thursday night.
But what made the Instagram post interesting was the captions: The first post was captioned, “So proud of you’, while the second one read, “Need a new suitcase to pack them all.”

Although there is no official confirmation about their relationship from the Mumbai opener or the actress, it is pretty clear that they are fond of each other and that sparks speculations as well.

“Wasn’t thinking anything to be honest. Was just waiting for the loose balls. We’ve played for four-five years now (with Mavi), so I knew where he will bowl to me. I was prepared (for the short ball). The first four-five balls he bowled were half-vollies so I was prepared for the short ball but unfortunately, he didn’t bowl,” he said at the presentation.
