Hosts Mumbai won the toss, and put Punjab into bat first. The visitors raced off to a quick start with openers Martin Guptill and Wriddhiman Saha toying with Mumbai bowlers. Then, Karn Sharma removed Guptill in the 6th over, but that doesn't stop the flow of runs as newly arrived Maxwell started hitting from ball one.

But Bumrah got the better of Maxwell in the 11th over. Bowled. And the result was a sight not many have seen – Bumrah going ballistic.

Maxwell hit the previous ball for a four, with the Aussie getting a thick edge off a good length delivery. But Bumrah had the last laugh, as they say, knocking the wickets off.

Maxwell scored 47 runs off 21 balls, with the help of two fours and five sixes. And the wicket may well prove the difference between the two sides today.
