Defending a paltry total of 138, the visitors needed a good start at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. And it was provided by Sandeep, who removed Chris Gayle, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers in a dream spell.

The 23-year-old thus became the first player in the IPL history to take the wickets of the trio in a single match. His bowling figures were: 4-0-22-3.

Here are the wickets

First one to go was Gayle, for a duck, caught at point by Martin Guptill.

He was followed by Kohli, bowled. The skipper made six off six balls.

Then, de Villiers was caught behind by Wriddhiman Saha. He made 10 runs.

The visitors won the match by 19 runs.
