New Delhi: Ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was not at his usual best, but still managed to get the prize wicket of Australian captain Steve Smith on Day 1 of the fourth and final Test in Dharamsala.

After opting to bat on a 'blameless' Dharamsala pitch, Smith anchored the Aussie innings with a brilliant hundred. It was his third hundred of the series, and sure a classic knock.


But the 27-year-old failed to convert it to a big hundred as he ended up offering a tough chance to India's stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane at slip. And Rahane was never going to drop it.
