Book on Swami Vivekananda launched on his 154th birth anniversary
The book launch at the ongoing World Book Fair was attended by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar along with National Book Trust Chairman Baldeo Bhai Sharma and others.
New Delhi: Remembering Swami Vivekananda on his 154th birth anniversary, a book titled ‘Himalaya Mein Vivekananda’ written by former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal was launched here on Thursday.
The book launch at the ongoing World Book Fair was attended by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar along with National Book Trust Chairman Baldeo Bhai Sharma and others.
"The life of Swami Vivekananda was full of difficulties. His life is inspiring and the youth needs to be informed about his personality so I wrote the book," Pokhriyal said at the event.
"It is a matter of great joy and happiness that the book 'Himalaya Mein Vivekananda' is being released on the occasion of birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Narendra who became Vivekananda after coming to Himalayas, disseminated the message of Indian culture across the world," Khattar said at the book launch.
