Delhi: A fire broke out at former Delhi Chief minister and Congress leader Sheila Dixit's home in Delhi's East ​Nizamuddin. Two fire tenders are on the spot.

No damage has been reported, the city fire services informed.


Delhi Fire Services (DFS) control room received a call regarding the fire was at around 9.38 am. By the time, the fire tenders were rushed to the spot but the blaze had already been doused.


The fire started  from an electricity meter fitted in the basement of the house, he said.


Dixit served as the Chief Minister of Delhi from 1998 to 2013. She is also the former Governor of Kerala.
