All-new BMW 7-series luxury sedan unveiled, also gets i7 electric version
The all electric luxury Sedan comes with the BMW Theatre Screen, the multi-sensory vehicle experience BMW iDrive with the latest generation of BMW Operating System 8.

Luxury carmaker BMW announced a new electric 7-series luxury sedan i7 xDrive60. The new series comes with an estimated range of up to 482 km (300 miles). The new luxury Sedan offers features such as the BMW Theatre Screen, the multi-sensory vehicle experience BMW iDrive with the latest generation of BMW Operating System 8. It further offers the BMW Curved Display and the Manoeuvre Assistant for automated parking and manoeuvring, highlighting the progressive character of the luxury sedan.
The i7 is part of collective launch of 2023 BMW 7-Series, which gets two petrol-powered 7-Series and one electric-powered model. The gasoline-powered models available at launch include the 740i and the 760i xDrive.
The new 7-series features split headlights with slim top lights (optionally available with Swarovski crystals inset) and the actual headlights which are hidden module further down the bumper. Like the recent BMW cars, the kidney grille is huge and the grille surround also lights up. "With the new BMW 7 Series, the world’s most successful manufacturer of premium vehicles is creating forward-looking ways to enjoy driving pleasure, unsurpassed long-distance comfort and a top-end digital experience," the company said in a statement.

Inside the BMW 7-Series is a massive Curved Display fitted with two screens with 12.3-inch screen, and the infotainment system is a 14.9-inch screen. The luxury continues in the rear seat with a 31.3-inch 8K touchscreen display that can be dropped down, new panoramic glass roof, “Executive Lounge” seats that allow a backrest recline of 42.5 degrees among other things.
Other features includes a new Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound system that features 36 speakers, automatic opening and closing doors that open upon your approach and close for you once you’re inside, optional Highway Assistant that allows for hands-free driving at speeds up to 150 kmph and much more.
