Chennai, Feb 18: Breaking its impasse with the AIADMK, the Bharatiya Janata Party has finalised the seat-sharing agreement with the ruling party in Tamil Nadu. BJP senior leader and Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj clinched the pact after an hour-long talk with AIADMK supremo and Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at her Poes Garden residence here. The two leaders, jointly addressing waiting newspersons, said a formal announcement on seat-sharing would be made tomorrow. ''Can't you wait for less than 24 hours,'' Jayalalithaa shot back when asked how many seats were being allotted to the BJP. Swaraj said she would convey the details of the talks to Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and BJP president M Venkaiah Naidu. ''They will talk to Jayalalithaa, after which a formal announcement will be made,'' she added. Bureau Report
