Sonepat (Haryana), Apr 27: The BJP will go it alone in the upcoming assembly polls in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi, party organising secretary Ram Piare Pandey said. "These assembly polls are very important for the party as it is believed to be the final test of strength between BJP and Congress before the Lok Sabha elections," he told reporters here last evening.

"Moreover, these are the states where the BJP has done well in the past," he said. He said the BJP would go it alone in the coming polls as people are "fed up with Congress rule and desperately looking for a change".

Turning to Haryana, he accused chief minister and INLD leader Om Parkash Chautala of adopting anti-BJP stance since assuming power in the state. Terming Chautala as "enemy number" of BJP, he said BJP would field its candidate for May 21 Fatehabad Assembly bypoll in the state.
