Islamabad, Jan 6: Ending widespread speculation here, National Security Adviser Brajesh Mishra today categorically denied that he had met ISI chief Ehasanul Haque. "There was no meeting between me and the ISI chief", Mishra told reporters at a press meet with External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha. Asked by a Pakistani journalist whether he had ever met the ISI chief in Washington or elsewhere, Mishra replied with a curt "no". To questions on who all he had met, Mishra said since his arrival here on January two, he had "several meetings to tie up the loose ends with regard to the joint statement". "I met people," he said adding he did not want to give details about that. "It is for the Pakistani side to disclose about my interlocutors". Bureau Report
