Srinagar, Nov 11: Three militants and two civilians were killed in an encounter between the ultras and the security forces in north Kashmir's Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir early this morning. Heavy exchange of fire between the two sides started after the forces cordoned off Kuil Bandipora village late last night while acting on specific information, official sources said. The security personnel later blew off the house where the militants were hiding, they said. The bodies of three militants were found from the debris in the early hours of the day, the sources said, adding two civilians were also killed in the gunbattle between the two sides. Bureau Report
