Indore, Sept 29: Elaborate security arrangements have been made in the city in view of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's two-day visit here beginning today, official sources said. Meanwhile, heavy rains over the last few days have forced the Congress to shift the venue of the 'Women Empowerment Convention', to be addressed by Gandhi today, to the Indoor Abhay Prashal Stadium, state women's Congress president, Shobha Oza, told a news agency. Oza said there was no change in the other programmes including forming of the human chain from the airport to Abhay Prashal in the honour of the party president.

The male members of the party would form the chain while their women counterparts will attend the convention in strength.
