New Delhi, Dec 03: Government has again sought extradition of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, who is reportedly trying to dispose off his properties in Karachi and elsewhere and has taken up residence in Islamabad, Lok Sabha was told today. Stating that there were Pakistani media reports to this effect, External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha said in a written reply that Indian government has once again asked Pakistan to hand over Dawood to try him in the country.
On October 17, 2003, government reiterated its request to Pakistan to hand over the don, he said.
India on December 31, 2001 had handed over a list of fugitives from Indian law to Pakistan, which included his name, Sinha added.
