The 65-year-old "I Am Cait" star, known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing gender transition, won the men's decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics and considers the accolade her "most prized possession," reported Daily Mirror.

"My gold medal is my most prized possession, I'm so proud of it. I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success.

"I didn't want them to constantly compare their own achievements to my time in the Olympics, so I haven't displayed my medal. Here's where it currently lives in my make-up drawer," Jenner said.

Jenner said even though she is proud of her achievements, she is experiencing an "even greater time" in life after becoming an advocate for the transgender community.

"I'm very proud of it (the medal). That was a great time in my life, but to be honest with you, it's even a greater time in my life right now with what I'm trying to accomplish with this,"
