Rae Bareilly, May 31: The CBI today filed supplementary chargesheet against Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, his cabinet colleague Murli Manohar Joshi, VHP leader Ashok Singhal and five others in the Babri Masjid demolition case in a special court here. BJP leader Uma Bharati and firebrand VHP leader Sadhavi Rithambara are among the others against whom supplementary chargesheet was filed in the court which had granted the investigating agency time till today to do so.
The court exempted the accused from personal appearance today and posted the matter for further hearing to June 13. The special court directed the CBI to produce before it the report of Crime Branch of CID which had initially probed the demolition case.
It asked CBI to produce news clippings, videography and photographs collected by CB-CID during investigation. Bureau Report
