Muzaffarnagar, Oct 10: Four kidnappers were gunned down and a farmer rescued from their captivity in an overnight operation near Sikhera Police Station in Muzaffarnagar district, police said today. Acting on a tip off, police surrounded the jungle near Asad Nagar village and gunned down four kidnappers involved in several cases of kidnapping and murder in the area, SSP Naveneet Sikera told a news agency. A farmer, Mohd Isha kidnapped by the accused was also rescued from their custody.

Isha was kidnapped by the accused when he was returning home yesterday after working in the field. Bureau Report
