Jammu, Mar 05: The National Conference (NC) which is the largest opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly, today raised the issue of alleged backdoor appointments made by the government and sought clarification from the authorities on the same. Raising the issue during the question hour in the assembly here NC member Mehboob Beg wanted to know whether the government was making backdoor appointments in various departments and if so whether it was prepared to discharge such employees as have been appointed through dubious means.
Replying on the issue, minister of state for home A R Veeri on behalf of the chief minister, said the government is committed to adopt transparent policy for providing employment to youth. Denying allegations, the minister said no backdoor appointments have been made by the government since it assumed the office in the state.
