Raipur, Nov 14: Leader of Opposition in Chhattisgarh Assembly Nand Kumar Sai today said he will only contest from Marwahi reserved seat against Chief Minister Ajit Jogi and
not from his traditional Tapkara seat.
"Although I have filed nominations from both the places but to defeat Jogi, I will only contest from Marwahi," Sai told here.
Sai had filed his nominations yesterday from Marwahi tribal seat while earlier he had filed papers from his traditional Tapkara seat in Jashpur district. Jogi had filed his papers on Wednesday.
The leader of opposition said the issue of terror, atrocities and corruption will be the main election plank of BJP against the Chief Minister and not the caste status of Jogi. Since no community can decide about the caste status of any person it has been left to the court to decide the caste of Jogi, Sai added.
