Panaji, Feb 10: The management of the Taj Exotica Hotel in South Goa, where Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Rajiv Pratap Rudy spent the new year's with his family, today said the bills for their stay had been paid. ''Whatever was due, was paid the day before. The amount due was in the public knowledge,'' the hotel authorities said. However, they did not clarify whether it was paid through a demand draft or cash.

The opposition has sought dismissal of the minister and a CBI probe into his ''personal'' visit to Goa, following controversy over the alleged misuse of ministry funds by him.
