Kolkata, July 18: Director Mani Ratnam today resumed shooting of his yet untitled film on the Vidyasagar Setu, two days after lead actor Vivek Oberoi broke a leg and the filmmaker himself fainted when a stunt scene went horribly wrong.
The maker of 'Roja' and 'Iruvar' resumed sans lead actors -- Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor or Rani Mukherjee -- scheduled to be cast in the movie.
Ratnam, who was suffering from fever, dehydration and low blood pressure for the last few days, got a go ahead from doctors at the B M Birla Heart Research Centre last evening to take up work partially from today.
Oberoi, recuperating from a surgery to fix two bones, the tibia and fibula of his left leg, would be indisposed for about three months.
