Los Angeles: Hugh Grant may have played the perennial 'Mr Right' in a number of romantic comedies, but the British star says his own personal life does not resemble the character he portrays on-screen.

"Certainly not in a sort of marketed Hallmark Valentine's Day sense, no. I find that repugnant," Grant told Us magazine when asked whether he is romantic.


The 'Notting Hill' actor, 54, who was at the Cinema Society and Brooks Brothers Screening Of The Rewrite In NYC, however, said he is not without feelings.


"But I'm not without a heart and particularly now in my old age, I cry a lot. Almost everything makes me cry now... anyone who's nice to me makes me cry."
