London, Aug 05: The Terminator has blasted the Hulk away at the box office, pulling in over $9.6 million during its debut weekend. The latest Arnold Schwarznegger epic "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" was just one of three new releases to have shot straight to the top of the movie charts, Screen International said on Tuesday.
The other two, "Legally Blonde 2" in second place and "Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over" at number three, helped knock "The Hulk" from its top spot down to number five.
Having pulled in $2.2 million last weekend, the green comic book anti-hero attracted ticket sales of just 342,000 over this weekend.
The Jim Carey comedy "Bruce Almighty" dropped from second place to fourth, while "Piglet's Big Movie" shifted up one place to number six.
