Film, TV actor Ajit Vachani dead
Mumbai, Aug 25: Film and television artist Ajit Vachani died at a private hospital here today following a prolonged illness.

He was 52.
Vachani was in critical condition since a long time and the end came this morning, family sources told.
However, the family members refused to elaborate on the nature of Vachani's illness.
He had acted in over 50 Hindi films, besides three Sindhi movies. The actor had also acted in Gujarati and Marathi dramas.
Vachani acted in several television serials. His latest one was "Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka" which had 1,000 episodes in Gujarati, Hindi and Marathi, the sources said.
Right from school days, Vachani took keen interest in stage plays. He entered the film industry 27 years ago and mostly played the role of a character artist.
Vachani is survived by wife and two daughters, the sources added. Bureau Report
