New Delhi, Feb 18: Private airline Jet Airways today extended its 'Everyone Can Fly' scheme with immediate effect. The scheme, which was earlier scheduled to run from August 1, 2002 to March 31, 2003, has been extended till further notice, the airline said in a statement here.
The scheme is valid for 50 sectors across the country like Delhi-Guwahati, Delhi-Hyderabad, Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi- Trivandrum, Kolkata-Delhi, Chennai-Cochin, Bangalore-Kolkata, Chennai-Mumbai, Mumbai-Udaipur and Ahmedabad-Coimbatore.
A Jet Airways spokesman said the previously announced special fares would continue and that they would not be revised.
The scheme was launched to commemorate the world's first powered flight by Wright brothers of USA, 100 years ago.
As per the scheme, passengers are required to book their tickets at least 15 days in advance and to have a bonafide identity card while travelling.
Jet Airways, which is the country's second largest airline, has a fleet of 32 Boeing 737-400/700/800 aircraft and eight ATR 72-500 turbo-prop aircraft.
It operates over 250 flights daily to 41 destinations across the country. Bureau Report
