The 45-year-old actress said that she has been up against the sexism in negotiations herself, News24.com reported.

The 'Cake' actress added that there was a big "unnecessary" whistle blown out on fellow film star Renee Zellweger, who sparked rumours that she had cosmetic surgery when she was photographed with an astonishingly different look in October 2014, as she didn't really look that different.

Aniston, who insisted that women are heavily scrutinised for their appearance, thinks that "women are damned if they do and damned they don't."

The 'Friends' star, who has been on "too-thin lists" and on "what-happened-to-her lists," added that women face problems like they either are too fat "Oh my God, she's gained weight, getting chubby, mid-40s spread!" or "she's so skeletal, get some meat on her bones!"
