Coimbatore, Nov 11: Over 700 pirated CDs of Tamil and English films were seized during raids conducted in various parts of Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu and four shop-owners arrested in this connection, police said today. On specific information that unauthorised CDs were being circulated in video shops, raids were carried out in Tirupur last night and seized 730 CDs of Tamil and English films, kept without valid authorisation, from three shops, police said. Police arrested three persons in this connection.

In similar raids conducted in Mettupalayam, 15 Tamil film CDs were seized and one person arrested. Bureau Report
