Ganga Ram doc goes missing, Rs one cr ransom demanded
New Delhi, Dec 06: A doctor working with Ganga Ram Hospital here has been reported missing with his family claiming he had been abducted and a ransom of Rs one crore had been demanded as ransom.

R K Gupta, aged 50 years, went to the hospital in the
morning yesterday but did not return home, police sources
said today.
His car and other belongings were also not traceable, they said.
His family members lodged a report with police in Rajinder Nagar late in the evening, they said.
As police launched investigations, Gupta's family members claimed that he had been abducted and they had received a telephone call demanding a ransom of Rs one crore.
Police, while acknowledging that Gupta had a good financial position, said they were looking into this aspect also. Bureau Report
