Raghuvansh most indisciplined member: Speaker
New Delhi, July 23: Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi today pulled up RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh dubbing him as the `most indisciplined member` of the house.
New Delhi, July 23: Lok Sabha Speaker Manohar Joshi today pulled up RJD leader Raghuvansh Prasad Singh dubbing him as the "most indisciplined member" of the house.
The Speaker's reprimand of Singh came during an impromptu debate on the admissibility of an adjournment motion on the "dropping" of conspiracy charge by CBI against Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani and seven others in the Babri Masjid demolition case.
"I am not going to tolerate this. You cannot threaten.....I am the last man to tolerate this", Joshi observed as an agitated Singh rushed to front benches and started speaking loudly protesting at not being given an opportunity to participate in the debate. Dubbing him as the "most indisciplined member" of the house, a visibly angry Speaker warned the RJD leader that he could not talk to the chair in such language and his rushing to the front benches was not a good thing.
Later, Shiv Sena members led by Chandrakant Khaire as also some BJP members demanded that the speaker ask the RJD leader to apologise and that he be removed from the panel of chairmen of the house. The Speaker later allowed Singh to have his say. He also made him occupy the chair for a few minutes during the din when he went out of the house.
