Islamabad, Oct 10: Pakistani Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali has said that US President George Bush has promised continued US involvement in reviving the Indo-Pak dialogue. "I underlined our commitment to improving our relations with India. President Bush assured me of continued US involvement and interest in resuming the Pakistan-India bilateral dialogue process,” Jamali told reporters on his discussions with Bush after his return here from the United States last night.

He discussed Kashmir issue with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan in New York yesterday before leaving for home.
Jamali said Pakistan was "concerned with the military imbalance" in the region and the issue figured in the talks with Bush.
"We told the United States that we do not want an imbalance in the region. They know we are concerned," he said.
Jamali said that he conveyed Pakistan's "concern" over joint Indo-American military exercises to the US.

Besides Indo-Pak relations, both sides also discussed the developments in Afghanistan, the situation in Iraq and "the ways and means to combat terrorism", he said.
