New Delhi, Nov 25: Almost a year after the attack on Parliament, a Delhi court today completed the hearing in the case and reserved its order for Dec 11.

Special judge S N Dingra reserved his order after the court appointed counsel for the alleged Jaish-e-Mohammed militant Mohd Afzal, a key conspirator in the attack, concluded his final arguments in the case. Besides Afzal, another alleged JeM militant Shaukat Hussain Guru, his wife Navjot Sandhu alias Afsan Guru and S A R Geelani, suspended lecturer of a Delhi University College, are accused in the case.

The court had framed charges against them for the December 13 Parliament attack, charging them with attempting to kill the Vice-President, Prime Minister, Central ministers, MPs and several other VIPs. The accused have been charged with threatening the unity, integrity, security and sovereignty of the country by waging war against it and committing several other offences under Pota, IPC, explosive substance act and arms act.

JeM chief Maulana Masood Azhar, the outfits chief commander in Jammu and Kashmir Ghazi Baba alias Abu Jehadi and one Tariq have been declared proclaimed offenders in the case.

The five Pakistani militants who were killed in the gun battle with security force in the Parliament House complex were Mohammed alias leader, Hamza, Haider alias Tufial, Raja and Rana.
Nine security personnel were killed and 16 others injured when the militants had stormed the Parliament House.
