Rudra unanimously re-elected Tripura deputy speaker
Agartala, Mar 25: Former deputy speaker of Tripura Assembly Subal Rudra was today unanimously re-elected to the same post.

His name was proposed by ruling CPI-M MLA Amitava Dutta
and the entire treasury bench stood up in support of him.
The opposition bench did not propose any name for the post.
The Leader of the Opposition Ratan Lal Nath congratulated Rudra and assured him all cooperation.
In the 60-member assembly the ruling Left Front has 41 MLAs and the opposition Congress-Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT) combine has 19 seats. Bureau Report
