Karachi, July 11: A powerful bomb shattered windows in a 10-story office building in Pakistan's troubled port city of Karachi today, killing one person, police and witnesses said. No one took responsibility for the early morning explosion on the main boulevard that leads into Karachi from its international airport. Police said the security guard outside the building died in the blast.

Explosive experts and dozens of police were at the scene, rummaging through the debris for clues. Police have so far refused to speculate who may have been behind the bombing.
