Chandigarh, Aug 18: Shiromani Akali Dal President Parkash Singh Badal today reorganised the party set up in view of its recent union with the faction led by Gurcharan Singh Tohra. Tohra alongwith Manjit Singh Calcutta, Prem Singh Lalpura and Harmel Singh Tohra, have been inducted into the Political Affairs Committee (PAC), the highest decision making body, of the party, a party release said here. Jathedar Surjan Singh Thekedar has been made patron of the party while Bhai Manjit Singh will be senior vice president.
Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal and Prem Singh Chandumajra have been made general secretaries while Rajbir Singh Padiala has been included as junior vice president, the release said.
