Colombo, Mar 10: The LTTE is going to request the government not to have anything to do with expelled LTTE leader V. Muralitharan better known as Karuna. According to SP Thamilselvan, the head of LTTE's political wing, the government would be formally requested when it meets the visiting Norwegian peace envoy, Eric Solheim in Kilinochchi tomorrow. He also said that Karuna was receiving aid from the military. Karuna has rejected an offer of amnesty by the LTTE. The patrolling operations were temporarily suspended in the areas controlled by Karuna as per the SLMM-Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission.
