Kanpur, Sept 10: From the ravines to the silver screen, notorious dacoit Seema Parihar will soon portray herself in a Hindi film.
Seema has signed an agreement with writer Rishikesh Sharma to star in a film to be called 'Seema bani dacoit', her counsel Vijay Narain Singh Senger told a news agency.
He said the film would be directed by Yash Chauhan and would highlight the childhood days of Seema and "reveal" how she became a dacoit.
Seema came under media limelight in February when Shiv Sena said it would make her its candidate for the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls, though the plan fell through for some reasons.
Seema had surrendered after the killing of her gang leader Lala Ramk and has been lodged in Etawah jail. Over four cases of murder and dacoity are pending against her, though she was acquitted in four such cases.
