Los Angeles: Singer Selena Gomez feels she has grown up and is coming into her own since the time she has worked on her new album “Revival”.

The “Good for You” hitmaker shared that she has learnt the fact that she "can't make everyone happy", reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"It's almost like a metamorphosis. I feel like I'm coming into my own. I've been through stuff and I think that it's been able to test me as a person. And I feel like I'm in charge of everything.It's my time to just stop and say this is my perspective on where I am. I can't make everyone happy. I need to learn to love myself first,” Billboard magazine quoted Gomes as saying.

And the 23-year-old singer shared that she runs everything by her close friends including her friend and singer Taylor Swift.

"My friends hear everything.It's also good to have Taylor listen to my stuff ... I am for sure that person that runs it by her peeps,” Gomez said.
