Dushanbe, Nov 13: Atal Bihari Vajpayee flew in here tonight on the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to this strategic Central Asian Republic of Tajikistan whose President Emomali Rakhmanov led the country's top leadership in warmly greeting him at the airport. A nation of less than seven million people, Tajikistan is India's closest neighbour in Central Asia and is strategically located as it shares borders with China, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. India shares warm relations with Tajikistan, slightly bigger in size than Tamil Nadu. Bureau Report
