Srinagar, Feb 28: Eleven persons, including five Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans, were injured in a grenade blast on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway this evening. Official sources said militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF convoy coming from Jammu to Srinagar at village Gouriwan on the highway in south Kashmir district of Anantnag this evening, wounding five CRPF jawans, two of them seriously.
Six civilians were also wounded in the blast. The injured have been admitted to hospital.
