The 25-year-old singer bid to win the shirt after the 'X-Men' star's performance on Broadway show 'The River' on yesterday afternoon, reported Ace Showbiz.

Jackman, 46, also auctioned another T-shirt, which he was wearing during his performance, for the charity and raised an additional USD 6,000 from another audience member and threw in USD 6,000 himself. One of the audience even offered USD 2,000 for his belt.

The 'Real Steel' star posted a picture on Instagram later on with Swift and wished every one Merry Christmas. "Lovely to see taylorswift13 and her family. Merry Christmas Eve to all," he captioned the picture.

He also posted a picture alongside a Christmas tree greeting his fans. "Sending wishes for an awesome holiday! TheRiverPlay," Jackman posted. Swift was joined by her younger brother Austin Swift and her parents Andrea Finlay and Scott Kingsley Swift while watching the Broadway play.
