Thrissur, June 11: Government has directed the registrars of various universities in Kerala to take action against unauthorised Hindi B.Ed training institutions operating in the state. According to the Kodungalloor-based Hindi Prachara Kendra secretary, M S Muraleedharan, the direction was issued by the government in response to a complaint sent by him to the principal secretary, higher education.

He had complained that unauthorised Hindi institutions were being run at Kayamkulam, Thrissur, Thriprayar, Ottappalam Nedupusha, Kaladi, Kollam, Wynad, Thalassery, Kottarakkara, Adoor and Vadakkanchery.

Only three institutions, Kerala Hindi Prachara Sabha, Thiruvanthapuram, Dakshin Bharatha Hindi Prachar Sabha, Ernakulam and Hindi Prachara Kendra, Kodungalloor, have the necessary permission to conduct the Hindi teacher training institutions in Kerala, he said.
