Los Angeles, Dec 02: The Los Angeles Lakers defeat the Indiana Pacers 99-77 in the NBA.
Shaquille O'Neal scored 23 points in just 22 minutes in his second game back from a calf injury to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to an easy 99-77 win over the Indiana Pacers in an NBA game played in Los Angeles on Sunday (November 30). O'Neal led five Lakers in double figures as Los Angeles won its 25th straight game at the Staples Center while improving to 10-0 at home this season. The Lakers (14-3) have won nine of their last 10 games, most of them by lopsided scores, and beat the Pacers for the eighth straight time at home, including three games in the 2000 NBA Finals. Indiana (14-3) had its eight-game winning streak snapped while losing for the first time in eight road games this season.


Kobe Bryant had 12 points and seven assists for the Lakers, who led by nine at the half and by 17 after three quarters and were never threatened.


Derek Fisher added 12 points for Los Angeles, while Karl Malone had 11 points and 15 rebounds.


Al Harrington scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds for the Pacers, while Jermaine O'Neal added 14 points.
